This is a title wave in the numbers of persons experiencing impaired hearing and hearing loss. AARP predicts that one in three of those persons in the growing senior population will have hearing loss. This means the number will reach 63 million retirees with hearing impairment by the year 2030.

These dynamics have created a new marketplace and new career opportunities for persons interested in becoming hearing aid specialists.
